Very good to fine condition; the only issues are minor: the upper left corner of the board is bumped; small barely noticeable minor crease in the board, center left, not into the image. Comment(s): We were unable to locate another Laurens collage where he utilized newspaper as part of his composition. We did locate a collage of his with the same subject from the same year, “La guitare,” collage, charcoal, and gouache on card, 7 ˝” x 10 3/8,” 1918, sold for $165,250 including premium at Sotheby’s New York, November 10, 2000, lot #221.
