Lot Note(s): Signed in pencil, lower center. Cream wove paper. Good condition; some foxing recto and verso. Acquired directly from the artist; from the estate of Estela Ogazon, Mexico City. Comment(s): Partial drawing and annotations, verso. Mérida was one of the first to fuse European modern painting to Latin American themes, especially those related to Guatemala and Mexico.
